"Willem Dafoe Portrait"

This is a portrait of the actor, Willem Dafoe. This has definitely been one of the most challenging portraits that I have worked on as I have really tried to push myself to learn new techniques in order to achieve a more realistic result. Here are two images of the drawing, the first is a black & white scan of the drawing and the second is a photo to show its scale. The drawing is an A3 charcoal and graphite piece which took me around 50 hours to complete over the space of a month.
