Old Deeside Railway
Connecting two sides of Aberdeen - which have been separated by the old Deeside railway line - with a cubic folie acting as the main connector and an incubator which will be a collective public space for all ages. The old Holburn station is located just East of Holburn Street and features a secondary public access route leading directly down to Holburn Street. Following the form of the folie, the incubator is a development of the cubic composition with the use of triangles, deforming the cube into abstract forms but keeping the geometric shape, creating a unity between the two.
